Seriously crappy photo, I know. Only the second Vanagon I’ve seen in the STL area since I moved here 6 years ago.

yeah, so, I’m afraid we’re going to need the deets on that sock monkey or whatever on your dash. #sockmonkeylopnik

Grumpy cat. Picked up at the Goodwill Outlet and is used to dust the dash...

GoWesty wheels or just late ‘90s Mercedes? I know MB and the Vanagon shared the same odd 5x112mm bolt pattern. I wanted nice alloys for my Vanagon back in the ‘80s, but the only things available were meant for MBs, which cost more than I wanted to spend on my college car/surf wagon; I ended up going with stock late Vanagon wheel covers instead since I worked at a dealer and could get them cheap.

McMike? I think he’s in that area, but I forget.

GoWesty make nice 16" versions; MB versions need some fiddling like bolts, nuts, and not great offsets, etc, etc..

I had a set of B-Class alloys that were 5x112 but needed longer bolts and a 5mm spacer to fit our van. I never got them mounted up though because I ran AT tires on the 14" steelies..
